Tangence is a scholarly literary journal associated with the Letters sections of the Département de Lettres et humanités de l’UQAR and the Département de Lettres et communication sociale de l’UQTR.

Three times a year, Tangence publishes themed issues pertaining to literature and other arts and areas of knowledge. Tangence does not publish individual articles unrelated to an issue.

Tangence is supported by the Fonds de recherche du Québec – Société et culture, the Université du Québec à Rimouski and the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières.

Distribution and subscriptions

Thanks to the Érudit portal, the OpenEdition Journals platform and the support of Canadian Heritage, Tangence has been available on line since 2002. Articles can be freely accessed 12 months after publication of an issue. All the journal’s digitally published articles on Érudit are provided with long-term identification (URL and DOI).

Print copies of the journal are also available for purchase or subscription.

Tangence requires no financial contribution from its collaborators.

Permanent archiving of Tangence on Érudit is assured by Portico.
