Three times a year, Tangence publishes themed issues pertaining to literature and other arts and areas of knowledge. Tangence does not publish individual articles unrelated to an issue.

Distribution

Thanks to the Érudit portal, the OpenEdition Journals platform and the support of Canadian Heritage, Tangence has been available on line since 2002. Since January 2026, articles are available in open access as soon as they are published. All the journal’s digitally published articles on Érudit are provided with long-term identification (URL and DOI).

Tangence requires no financial contribution from its collaborators.

Permanent archiving of Tangence on Érudit is assured by Portico.
