Founded in 1965, Études françaises is a French-language journal of criticism and theory that examines French-language literatures, the relationships between arts and the humanities, discourse and writing.  Each issue includes one overall theme and various related studies. The journal is intended for specialists in French and Quebec literature and anyone interested in literature.

Études littéraires


Études littéraires

Founded in 1968, Études littéraires is published by the Département des littératures de l’Université Laval. It includes dossiers and analyses focused primarily on French literature, but examines other literatures as well, especially for comparative purposes.  Études littéraires reports on current research in literary studies from a theoretical and critical perspective by examining various generic, historical and thematic issues and corpuses. It also publishes a section (Débats) on recently published works of criticism and theory.

Founded in 1894, the Revue d’histoire littéraire de la France, issued every three months, publishes articles and information essential to all those studying and working in French literature from the 15th-century to the present.

Voix et images


Voix et Images

Founded in 1967 with the title Voix et Images du pays, the journal adopted the name Voix et images in 1975. It publishes articles on Quebec literature from its beginnings to the present. Each issue includes a dossier devoted to an author or an issue drawn from independent studies and reports on literary trends. Originally intended for specialists in Quebec literature, the journal now targets all those seeking a better understanding of the written word in Quebec.
